Mark Stephen Smith, Associate Professor at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, since 1985, is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute and Queens College of the City University of New York. His work has been exhibited since 1975 in various solo and group exhibitions, including The Artist’s Eye Series at the Kimbell Art Museum, and shows at the Arlington Museum of Art, the University of North Texas, Boston University, the Grace Borgnicht Gallery in New York, and the Dallas Museum of Art. He has exhibited with William Campbell Contemporary Art in Fort Worth since 1985, and his paintings and sculptures are in numerous private and public collections nationally, including the Federal Reserve Bank, the Neiman Marcus Collection, the Nokia Collection, the Citicorp Collection, and the Tandy Collection.
