Each year VAST is proud to showcase selected members art in a printed calendar. VAST is grateful for local businesses and community members that sponsor pages of the calendar. The printed calendars are available for purchase beginning in September.


Cards and Calendars will be available for purchase at the monthly member meetings.

Governance

VAST is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of not less than three (3) and not more than twenty-five (25) members. The Board of Directors has full responsibility for the management of the business of the Organization within the structure of the approved Bylaws. The Board of Directors determines the policies governing the administration and operation of the Organization and has full responsibility for the financial affairs and for the ethical and professional standards of the Organization.

The Visual Arts Society of Texas (VAST), organized in 1975, is based in Denton, Texas, and functions as a non-profit, professional organization dedicated to supporting artists and art lovers. VAST is registered as a 501 (c)(3) organization with the Internal Revenue Service and donation to VAST are tax-deductible.

To become a Lifetime Legacy Society member, you agree to support the mission of the Visual Art Society of Texas (VAST), and contribute in a way designed to assist in the promotion of the mission. VAST Legacy Lifetime members are people who believe in the VAST organization. Their commitment expands continuing opportunities for artists in building lifetime friendships with other artists, expanding knowledge in the arts and providing ongoing opportunities for artists to be recognized at levels reflecting their talents and dedication to their craft. Visit the VAST Donations page to learn more about how to become Lifetime Legacy Member: Donations
